Prosthetics and dental aesthetics
Giacomo was among the most interesting full-mouth restoration cases done by dr. Bogdan Baldea and his team more than five years ago. He had the luck to meet Dr. Baldea while doing his dentistry studies in Timisoara, and his case intrigued and challenged our colleague to try to help him.
His smile, as can be seen in the pictures, didn´t rise up to the aesthetic expectations and from a functional point of view the situation was even worse. This result was due to genetics, but also to a bad orthodontic treatment that he had in his childhood.
Given the situation, it was favourable to have a non-prep, minimally invasive treatment. Dr. Baldea could place veneers without preparing the teeth. This was possible thanks to the dimension of the teeth and the existing space between them.
It can be said that the final smile is amazing, and that definitely contributed to an increase in his confidence, but also in the admiration he has for Dr. Baldea, who became his mentor (Giacomo was back then a student at dentistry faculty and presently is one of our clinic´s collaborators).
